All Westerned Out

YEEEE HAAAAWWWW

Today we bought my first ever Cowboy Hat

and I inherited RED Cowgirl Boots that had belonged to David's mom, which fit just right.

I'll be wearing both for Walter ( David's dad ) 's Birthday Party next week...

Reminds me of my boot scooting days with the EUVE crowd. What line dances have you learned? The Tush Push or the Stray Cat Strut? I'm sure you look great all gussied up like that. ;-)

I remember when I was a little girl growing up in Texas, cowgirl boots were a necessity. You were nobody if you were a lil' girl and had no boots. lol...I had so many different pairs that I don't even know the count of how many I actually had.

I remember this past summer when I was in Texas (Ft. Worth), I went to the Stock Yards and was looking for a cowgirl hat. I am so picky that I couldn't find one that I liked, or if I liked it I didn't like the price. There was one that I feel in love with...that is until I saw the price tag...$75!! I was not paying that much. I would have paid about $50 or $60, but not $75. lol...Maybe my sister will get me one for my birthday (April 29th, I will be 18!!!)

Well, I have a speech to work on and I haven't really started on it and it's due tomorrow! UH OH! Tata! Have fun with your new accessories!! ;)

Letti
Sorry havent been around for a few days, but I have just caught up on reading your blog. Sounds like you are settling in very well with the Texans!!!
I looked at your wedding timer and can't believe it is not long now at all...

I look forward to seeing all your pics.
One question do the red boots transport you anywhere when you click the heels together..???

Oh no! Just don't let them dress you up in a fringed blouse, denim skirt or take you country line dancing or you may just become totally countrified beyond all hopes of salvation :).

Ah cool! lol
In 4th grade, my mom made me wear my cowboy boots to school because of the snow. I got called clodhopper for the rest of that year and probably the next at that school.
I think it turned me off of those things for life... ;-)

Gravatar o.k. you so have to get out of that state. They're corrupting you! Move to New Mexico. All You'll have to wear are full skirts with concho belts a velvet blouses and a fringe leather jacket.

That's not so bad is it? WELL, IS IT?

So did you ever go and see Carlsbad Caverns? :op
