I was a Soccer Aunt for a day.

Malaysia is soccer crazy...

However, I've never been a fan of the game. ( aka "football" in Malaysia ). BUT, my junior bridesmaid, Holly ( picture on the left ) plays soccer and yesterday, after some shopping with the "girls", all of us went to give her some moral support at a match. It was quite fun to watch the little kiddies in their bright uniforms giving their all...

It was at an immense complex offering 11 soccer fields:
  • seven regulation fields,
  • one international field, and
  • three youth fields.
The complex also includes a retail soccer shop, full-service concession stand, team dressing rooms and parking for 600 vehicles. (!!!)

sounds like fun. though I'm not much of a football fan. I think most of us are more interested in ur being 'pooped' then de 'royal' wedding. The comments u got probably sums up the general feeling just about there. haha

If you decide to have children in the future then you can be a soccer mom too. My son's soccer season starts this week and I'm looking forward to going to the games. But I know by the end of the season I'll be glad it's over. All that driving to practices and games. Next year I'll have 2 sons in soccer. Double the driving but double the fun!

used to play the game back in school. i like goalkeeping the most. it can be a real thrill stopping others from scoring, also it can be very frustrating seeing the ball roll pass into the net.

I used to love football but after reaching my 30's the interest dwindle to just when the world cup starts and it ends when the winner was decided.
