Now I have more clothes to give away...

It seems amazing to me,

but I am at my lightest weight ever as an adult.

While preparing for my wedding, I went on a diet ( and still am on it ) and have lost more than 15lbs so far, and have gone from a size 12 to a *gasp* size 6 !!!

So imagine me, going around pulling my pants up with every few steps I take and looking like I have NO bottom at all ( which isn't all that far from the truth ) ...

I had griped to David about getting new pants that actually fit, so we took advantage of last weekend's TAX-FREE WEEKEND and got myself a few pairs of new pants and a few funky belts for the older pants...YIPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

hi makuahine, monica & lilac..

secret? Slim Fast Diet...took their meal replacements/shakes/bars etc for breakfast and lunch, and then had a light light dinner - keeping everything at about 1000 calories a day. PLUS during that time, we had so much gardening, digging, laying sod etc. to do that i was up and about all the time and lifting heavy stuff.

Nah, i'm not getting skinny. I still have my chubby cheeks, and a big tummy..BLEH! Plus, although my jeans need to be size 6 ( I have skinny legs ), because of my humongaloid er...chest, i still need like size 8 or so clothes.

Our taxes here in Texas is 8.25% too...and it's only the 6th or 7th tax free weekend..I agree that sales taxes are a nuisance...ah, i remember those days in malaysia with NO sales tax.

I did the slim fast thing years ago and it worked for me. Congrats on your weight loss. I missed out on the tax-free weekend. :(
