Stop these Palpitations, please!

It's nowhere near any exam i'm supposed to take yet,

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

but I've just recently got some review books for the USMLE ( US Medical Licensing Exam), and have started studying to get licensed in the US..

so in addition to having to deal with a rusted brain and biochemistry and everyday household chores, pets, etc, I now have to deal with exam and internship nightmares. It's been at least 3 times this week.

*sigh*

p/s: in reply to Sam's question, every doctor who comes to the US, even if they were a NEUROsurgeon back in their home country, HAS to take these exams if they wanna be a doctor in the US....*BLEH!!!*

I'm still not understanding the necessity of this process. I mean, you're a doctor. You've earned your degree and I'm assuming already done your internship. Why is all this necessary?

Just take it easy Letti. One thing at a time. It is not an urgent situation and you can take your time to do it.

Is this the exams season?

I am so feeling your pain! *winces*

Will I have the love and care like how David has for you, to start over?

Now, go girl go!

It's been my experience to have more faith in doctors outside the U.S. than those educated and trained here.

My doctor is Dr. Vrushab. She rocks. Unforntutely she's out of town right now and I have to deal with the other doctor.

All the best to u ..

I know it's hard to go through and read all those medical stuffs in details again... especially after leaving medical schools for quite some time already..

Yeah its different in Canada as well. I have a friend who had to get his degree all over again after graduating from the University of Moscow and working for an airplane manufacturer for several years.

How long do you have to study? I hope it all goes smoothly-I know you can do it :)

Grease is a great movie, I try to watch it anytime it comes on-I still have the original album and when I saw it as a kid in the theatre they handed out a black or white come with the grease logo on it (I wish I still had mine!)

Good luck with your studies-Jeff
