Excursion to Lake Clyde

On Monday, at the spur of the moment, David decided to bring his dad, Jaxon and I to Lake Clyde. His dad has travelled all over Texas ( and then some), but for some reason, had never been to Lake Clyde. It was only about 25 miles away, and with Google Maps, especially with the Street View option, it makes going to a place you've never been to before, much less intimidating.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the facilities and amenities that were available. Who would have known that it was so much more than just a lake. It was really a very nice park complete with RV hook ups, camping sites, a boat dock, hiking trails, a playground, a sand volleyball court thingy, and the like.

Needless to say, it was also a major photo op. :)

Hello KampunganGirl. I met my husband through a mutual friend when I was still in Malaysia. We corresponded/skyped/talked on the phone for about half a year, and then I came to the States for a vacation and visited him. I missed Malaysia the most in the beginning. Now I still miss it on and off, but not that much as before. Do you have a blog? Are you in the States?
