In Bloom

It has been a wet winter and spring.  And so, it was really  no surprise that the wildflowers this year were more magnificent and beautiful than I can remember in at least a bunch of years.

What I noticed this year was how there was almost a timetable of when the flowers emerged.  First were the yellow ones, then the purple ones, then the white ones,  so on and so forth - something I don't think I ever noticed in the past.

Isn't nature just amazing?
Our Irises have also been quite spectacular this year. I wish they weren't so fleeting, tho, and that they lasted longer.

The same goes for the roses. They just burst into bloom a couple of weeks back, like they were rejuvenated somehow.
