Christmas Brunch

We made Cupcakes and Topped them with Chocolateyness and Toasted Coconut Flakes..
The little boy wanted to help...
 and did some, er, taste-testing.

 We also had some Quiche..
And what would a Christmas Brunch be without Christmas Themed Pancakes?
I spy Elves, Reindeer, and Christmas Trees :)
The Origami People got their own place on The Tree,
And the little boy delighted in the Teen Titans Go to the Movies,

While I caught a Doctor Who Marathon,
and recycled to my heart's content :D

Christmas Morning 2018

As per usual, the little boy was awake way before us, and could hardly contain his excitement on Christmas Morning.
He couldn't really GET us presents, so he made them instead - which is The Best Kind of Present. The one below here, he made for The Cat.
Of course, Silky had his own stocking, which ended up with some goodies as well.
I got this Origami Letti, a one of a kind piece by the little boy,
 and some chocolates,
and the hubs got a Monty Python T Shirt :D
We started out with the additions to the Monopoly Gamer family,
which makes for a funner game,

And then there was the "That's what I do, I read books and Know Things" t-shirt, which was immediately put on,
 and a present for Silky,
which he was quite curious about.
Of course, then came the Teen Titans Go! t-shirt, and the first t-shirt was quickly discarded. LOL.
A Family Game Set for Family Game Night...
 and the Much Awaited..
 Vector Robot :)
I mean, just look at that face.
It is a good thing the little boy hardly ever asks for anything, or we may not be able to afford Christmas!

Much love to all :)

Christmas Lane Part 2

THIS is why, in the Part 1 post, we were completely bumfuzzled that there were no cars when we arrived that other time. The reason is because, it is usually like THIS.
Cars stacked up for as far as the eye can see, and then some.
We tried to be patient and listen to songs on the radio and like that, but it still felt like a loooooooong time before we were at the gates.
We saw pretty much the same things we did the other night, but I suppose we caught a few things here and there that we might have missed.

Then we finally got to the parking area to go indoors,
It was chilly, and I was eager to get in there as soon as I could,
but not before The Little Boy made a phone call to the North Pole. :D
There were Christmas Villages everywhere,

But the real draw was the multi-train display at center stage.

Sometimes I can't believe all these came from people's homes and collections...

and it was kinda fun to see all the animatronics working like they should..
even if some were a little creepier than others,
and some just absolutely darling.
We DID get in line to see Santa, but they were charging to even take pictures using your own phone, and so we didn't capture any of THAT.
Nevertheless, we had another fun night out, and soaked in all the Christmas Season atmosphere to last us for a bit. :)
