Frances and Anastasia came to bring her to spend some time with them in Fort Worth before she left, and Charles was there with his kids too, so that was a treat.
All this against the backdrop of McDonald's on Judge Ely, which had had a major renovation done. We were quite silly, gawking at the newness of it all, and the sudden high techedness of the ordering system.
It was very Abilene and Texas themed, with a huge map of the city on one wall.
And Uncle Lin and his pals took a little time to get back into their McD groove, but I think they're starting to warm up to it.
