West Texas Fair and Rodeo

here are pictures from the West Texas Fair and Rodeo, Abilene featuring exhibits, rodeo, livestock shows and a carnival at the Taylor County Expo Center with letti's infamous Turkey Leg.

YUMMY...I miss the local county-wide fairs, like they have in the South. I grew up on funnel-cakes, cotton candy, popcorn, caramel (pronounced car-mel) apples, turkey legs and mashed 'taters. MMMMMMMM...MMMMMMM....GOOD. Do you know that many of the turkey legs are actually OSTRICH legs? I worked on an OSTRICH farm for a wee bit and found that out :).

Anyhow, love the photos and glad that you had such a good time!!
