a friend made me the egg thing for breakfast (one of my faves) and he called it a Robin's Nest. I don't know if that is his own personal name for the dish, but that is what he called it. otherwise, i call it taost-wit-ciricle-out-out thingee too. lol
Very appetizing. Strangely enough, I think we have the same experience. Instant noodles used to be my meal if I had to cook for myself. Now, not long ago, my husband exclaimed "When you cook, you are with God!" when he tasted the beef stew I cooked. (And of course, there is about 50% of exaggeration on his part!)
I hate people who post such apetising food that makes me feel so hungry. LOL! The hate part is just kidding but the apetising part and hungry part is true. Now I've got to go eat my brunch. Bye.....

Your pictures make me soooo hungry, thanks for reading my blog, as depressing as it has been lately.
I'm going to attempt to cook something now, thanks to your pictures. Fish sounds good suddenly.
Hey! Ditto on the recipe!
Thank you, you've inspired me to go back to all the diversities of the chinese culinary experience. Tomorrow - I'm going out for dinner! ;)

Mee goreng, yum yum..
Ah, yes...my mother used to make that for my younger brother, now in Iraq, when he was young. She called it "egg in a hole."
Nice toast.

in home economics many years ago, we called your egg-in-toast combo "toad in the hole"
Coor that fried egg in bread brings back memories. My dad used to do it for us and he called it an Eygptian Slice - god knows why.
My family did the egg in a bread when we were young too!!!!!!!
weird thing about MY family is that we called it
"Egg In A Bread" weren't we creative??????
