in Malaysia before except the occasional dog or cat,
but because we live about 7 miles out of the city, each time we go into town or to David's dad's, I can't help but notice all the ROADKILL that is out there!
It is even a game with some to keep count on family trips etc..Maybe it's the large amount of semi trucks/18 wheelers that travel the highways of America as well as deer and skunks that have not ever been schooled in road traffic rules..but I really hope this picture is a joke.

Letti!!!! I'm truly saddened to inform you that the excitement over Road-Kill is an American phenomenon, like the Barbie house...and all other things senseless. And NO, you are NOT full of yourself and I anticipate your next post. You never know what you're gonna get!
Heh... my favorite joke when I lived in Texas was:
Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?
A: To prove to the armadillo it could be done!
yum... road-kill...
(just kidding!) :)
don't forget to pin yourself to my guest map when you have time! thanks a bunch!
How amusing a post Letti! Just a half hour ago, on my way home from the University, I almost hit a skunk.
.... maybe our critters just aren't as smart...
hahah! I know my horse has run out into the road before -- talk about a scare! That could have been one VERY LARGE piece of road kill... and an expensive piece too!

Such a shame isn't it? I hate to see roadkill--especially pets and deer. I mean, they wouldn't leave a dead person out there. It is awful!
I had to endure trying not to look at a splattered hedgehog on the road on my way past and back along a street footpath/sidewalk. :(
I remember driving down the highway and smelling the smell of a dead skunk...ugh the worst smell!!!
brings back memories!! lol

Letti if you ever show up at a party and they offer road kill, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!
Hmmm, that can't be serious...
You can't kill a deer on the road, without _damaging_ part of the _automobile_
That grill thingy looks cool. I just might buy one LOL.
Letti: good observation. I would point out that Americans in the South (especially in Texas) seem to kill far more animals on the road than in other places. There are a lot of reasons for this: semi-tropical weather (so more animals), sprawling cities with no fences on highways, and don't forget: outright unnaturally mean people who run over animals on purpose. I was born in Alabama, where maggot-infested dead dogs and the like were a daily sight. I now live in Seattle, where I see *maybe* two dead animals a year on the road.
