The I-am-soooo-guilty Look
Ever since we got the new puppy, I have had to change the newspaper in his crate AND clean the kitchen floor all the time because although he DOES pee outside, he seems intent on pooing in his water bowl, hard to reach crevices in his crate and yes, on the kitchen floor (this is one time that i am thankful that we have NOT put in the new kitchen floor laminates as yet ).
So you can imagine my shock and delight when I brought him out this morning and later this afternoon....AND HE POO'D OUTSIDE IN THE YARD....BOTH TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you just see me doing my Snoopy Happy Jig right now?

oh Letti~ your puppy is absolutely adorable! I'm sure that he'll soon learn to go outside when he's supposed to. :-)
Adorable, but it takes them a while to learn everything...cats immediately go in the pan, I have no pets
I want a puppy!!!!!
Is that a Labrador puppy you have pictured there Letti? I've got a black one and she is a *handful* Good luck with being a "puppy parent" You'll love it :o)
aw he is so sweet!
good luck with the "potty" training. we were lucky when we got ours that he was already a year old and knew how to do all that. :)
Oh he's such a pretty puppy. Does he have 'big pretty brown eyes'. Ok I'm dog person but I'm not home enough to have one for my own.
It's sooo cute! What's is its name? And what's amusing is it really does have that "i-am-so-guilty-look" hehe
Chek
Your puppy is cute! Now that you said so, I can see that he did have a guilty look in the photo! Do you have a name for him?
Congratulations! That is a monumental step for a puppy! The puppy is absolutely adorable :).
My dog Petey took forever to train to poo outside. I was about to give up when I got Randy. He saw Randy go outside and started copying him!
Congrats on your cute puppy finally taking you off of inside poo patrol! Jeff
how old id your puppy? i use to train my puppies by putting them in a small bathroom after they eat especially and at night with newspapers all over the floor. after the puppy goes on the newspaper the next time you feed the puppy take the same soiled newspaper outside and put it where you want the puppy to go. stay out there with the dog and keep taking her near the soiled newspaper. if you take the papers around the very edge of the bathroom and take them away and leave a soiled newspaper on the other papers .keep decreasing the papers a little at a time in the bathroom each night . during the day while you are home have the paper outside that is soiled in the same spot. be sure to take the puppy out after you feed her.
Aw, reminds me of Chocky who died of old age... i still keep his photo when he was still a puppy.
