we had it at a friend's cabin by the lake.
We were given instructions on how to get there, and part of the instructions was to "turn in at the 'Coca-Cola Cabin' sign". Little did we know that we were going to the Coca-Cola Cabin itself! Turns out, it belongs to our friend's father in law and was built by the Coca Cola Company way back when the dam at the lake was first built, from the same stones.
Yes, there was quite the onslaught of the coca cola paraphernalia, but it wasn't too chintzy or anything.
It was a pleasant morning, and so we decided to have the class out on the porch. The ladies sat in the circle to help keep Jaxon "corralled", so that I could sit through class. He was pretty much confined to the "class" area, but that didn't stop him from exploring....
When he DID manage to hatch an escape plan, there would be someone there to help rein him back in :)
After class, we had a pot luck brunch with yummy food like pigs in a blanket, quiche, muffins, fruits and juice.
With our tummies full, we walked down to lake, enjoying the cool air and warm sunshine, fully aware that cool days would be very much a thing of the past till probably November.
