The Texas Lilac is starting to bloom, and attracting all kinds of pollinators / nectar seekers.  

I caught this little one going about very industriously.

Of Walks and Wildness

It really is quite lovely out here, what with the horses,

and the cacti,

And so while we are out on our walks, I try to point these things out to the little boy...

Like this huge poofy plant, very much like an overgrown dandelion.

It also felt like a good day for a we-fie :)

A Mother's Day Bouquet

So the boys went out and snipped a few roses and gathered a bunch of lovely wild flowers for me :)

This is when we do things we haven't ever tried before, aye?

They went well with the homemade Bak Kut Teh I made with whatever herbs and spices I had at home.

A New Grill / Griddle Combo

 So, for some reason, I have always wanted to have a cool grill / griddle combo, and was finally able to get one from Wally World for a very reasonable price.  I suspect that this won't see much use during the summer months, but I digress.

I made some Griddle / Grill Waffles just for fun, not owning an actually Waffle Maker, and they didn't turn out too badly :)
