These were planted using those grape tomatoes the hubs gets from Wmart to snack on. He was skeptical they would produce fruit, but here's hoping with fingers crossed!

Bird Feathers, on the other hand, and especially ones this big, can be rather sad if found in a clump with others.

Rabbits on the Path

It's nice to come across little Bunny Rabbits when I am walking outside. These two were trying to be stoic and acted like statues for a short while, but as I approached, they panicked and it was "Run Away!" :)

A few days later, I came across this Chill Dude.

The New TV

 We replaced our old Samsung TV - it had that dreaded "my internal bits are falling off, and so now you have soooo many bright circles all over your screen that it messes with any sort of viewing" - and had to keep track of our new settings. LOL.

More Flora

We have some busy bees around here, and still keeping a close eye on the baby fruit and berries!

Another Garden Figurine Refreshed

This time it was the cowgirl who had faded all to white.

I found some pics of her online in all her former glory and tried to paint her as true to the way she was as possible.

This TV show has ruined Que Sera Sera for me FOREVER. 

And, I have never once watched the opening credits, nor do I think I ever will. 

I started watching it out of curiosity more than anything, and it is not anything I usually choose to watch. It has that car wreck pull though. I can't stop "side-watching" it. 

Yeah. I usually have it on 1/4 the of the screen, to one side of the computer monitor while I am busy doing other er, productive things on the other 3/4 of the screen....so having my eyes averted and focused on other things most of the time is the way I "watch" this show.  

Dang. 

It's been on for several years now, but I've only started watching it. 

Eyes averted, 1/4 only screen real estate, skipping through the opening theme - that's the way I watch it, ain't no shame in it.

Enough about Baby Flora, here's some baby Fauna!

The Boys Got Me Flowers for Mothers' Day

but the *whisper* lack of grasshoppers */end whisper* has given the chance to some of the plants to ACTUALLY GROW and go through some other phases of their lives other than just fledgling infancy.

We live in a hot arid area

Hence the abundance of cacti and yuccas

We have been having a reprieve from all the locust-y grasshoppers, and so the Blackberries have had a chance to start to grow! Let's see how they do in a bit, aye?

More Garden Figurines Brought Back to Life

Remember when I freshened up the Garden Gnomes with a new coat of paint?

Well, I gave the Cat and Dog figurines in the Iris flowerbed some attention as well.  I didn't color their bodies, but did give them some Bright Bandanas.

We did escape with getting just some tiny hail, and not the ginormous ones. Phew.
