A long time ago, we took some cuttings of the trumpet vine from my FIL's backyard to try to carry on the Trumpet Vine Legacy.
For a bunch of years now, it seemed to have died, and this year, it put out a few blooms. Not covering the whole bush/tree, but something that keeps you hopeful that it might still have some fight left in it.
