Picnic in the Park

We were out and about, thinking about how we would not be able to do things like this pretty soon.

Also, we wanted to be somewhere a little more secluded and outdoors, and not in a closed-in restaurant with a bunch of other people ( read: Covid )

So we decided to pack a lunch and head for Cal Young Park, with its pretty little stream/brook/creek.

We managed to snag us a picnic table in a little corner by the bridge,

and the boys brought me some flowers. :D

It really was a sweet sweet spot for a picnic.  It was a lovely day, the sun was shining, and there weren't a lot of people around.

After lunch, we walked by the stream/creek/brook and managed to spot a few turtles hanging out under some of that aforementioned sun :)
