The Iris leaves have stiffened up, and many buds have sprouted, with the promise of lovely purple blooms.

Trimming the Texas Lilac

I was never quite the gardener, mainly because when I was growing up, we didn't have a yard or anything like that. The hubs, on the other hand, has instilled in me a love for plants and gardens. Here he is, trying to tame our Texas Lilac in preparation for the growing seasons.
