The Number 13 Sonic Cake

We're about to usher the child into his TEENAGE years tomorrow. ARRRRRRGGGHH!!

Meanwhile, here I am, having figured out how to do our yearly Number Cake with the Sonic motif incorporated, getting this ready for tomorrow.

Mowing season is right around the corner.

In a week or two, it could very well be a jungle here, judging by the weeds that have already started cropping up.

Reality TV

I have never watched a single episode of either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but the premise of The Courtship made me give it a go.

I can never get enough of Austen and her many tales, and love all the Period dramatizations I can find to watch.

It was cringey in parts, but I think I shall persevere, just because I have my own favorites for Ms. Remy.

Besides, they have a Ben Affleck Doppelganger as the host!

This is why we have Windmill Farms all around us.

Kimchi / Kimchee

The hubs has had a hankering for Kimchee and so I got to making some, seeing how pricey they can get at the Supermarket.  

Tada! Now all they've got to do is sit in a cool dark place for a few days.

Covid in Abilene Update

RV Water Heater Woes

So, we were watching TV the other night, and suddenly under the fridge, where the water heater sits, there were several flashes of light with loud "Snaps, Crackles and Pops!" going off.

Long story short, somehow, something that had to do with the Electric part of the Water Heater shorted out or insert-something-technical-which-I-comprehend-not-here.

It had tripped the breaker that was connected to it, and even though the Hubs knows more about these things than I do, we agreed that we would have to do some more research before attempting to see what was wrong.

Meanwhile, as it is with some things in an RV, there was an option to change over the heating to Propane, which we were hooked up to.  

Crisis averted for the moment.  

Gives us a bit of breathing space, thankfully.
