We didn't manage to go out for Trick or Treat night, so I knew I had to come up with some Mood Food.

It's Pumpkin Time!
I know it's all quite Last-Minute, but I didn't want the pumpkin to look all shriveled and moldy when Halloween came around. The "little boy" had quite a bit of fun, what with us giving all Creative Control over to him :)

More Amazing Sunsets
Sometimes, after dealing with all the chores in the house, I like to come out for a walk just to get away from all of it.
Then, I am greeted with THIS splendor. :) ( Google didn't like that I spelt it SplenDOUR , and wanted me to correct it. I thought, oh well, when in Rome. )

First Below - 50 Temps
Looks like we're gonna be bring in the plants in a few days, aye? Such is the cycle of life. The Beat Goes On and whatnot.
Airplanes overhead
We have an Airport as well as an Air Force Base here in Abilene, as well as plenty of Farms and Fields that need crop dusting from time to time.
Airplanes overhead are no big deal - we see umpteen a day.
But it IS quite a sight when they Fly In Formation.
Can you even see them? Above the tree a little to the left.

A Very Lonely Trash Can
We have recently changed Trash Pickup companies for er, SEVERAL reasons, and we were told to leave the trash can out so that it can be picked up.
Well, THERE you go. Hopefully it gets picked up before anything should happen to it.

A Prickly Pear Post
The boys helped to harvest the prickly pears around the place...
they are now rinsed and drying...
while we figure out what to do with them :)

A Vege Post
There are still some Cucumbers and Bell Peppers and Tomatoes to be harvested, which I am glad for,
and we had a very shapely carrot come with our grocery delivery this week.
