We went back to the Fair a few days later, and the evening sky with the setting sun was just brilliant.
We stopped by the Pavilion area and took advantage of a table there to have some dinner that we had brought along, while listening to the band that was playing there that day.
We also spotted a lone yellow balloon bobbing away in the distance.
After dinner, we walked around and took in the sights, sounds and SMELLS!
We were a little late for the Tractor Pull, but the organizer was really sweet, and let the little boy do it by himself. He was very encouraging, and the little boy shocked himself with how far he managed to pedal this time around!
We also got a participation ribbon to go with the ones from the previous years :) Hurray!
After that, we strolled down the midway and decided not to go on any of the rides that might make us sick.
We did, however, go on the rotating bear, as tradition :)
We started to walk back towards the Pavilion, seeing how
Crystal Gayle was set to sing that night.
We did stop by at the different booths that were offering local goods and services,
and get some "head shots" in.
And how could we not have some funnel cake at the Fair, I ask you.
The grand finale of the night was catching some of Crystal Gayle's concert towards the end..
A pretty good Fair experience, all in all :)
