Labor Day Weekend

I'm spelling Labor without a "u" now

It is wonderful to have a family that gets together all the time, who enjoy each other's company and have fun times.

It was a rainy weekend, but we were soooo glad to have the cooler weather and the rain that we didn't really care and went ahead and had lotsa fun

WE GOT RAIN!!! IT GOT LESS HOT!!

I did not complain even once about mud on my kitchen floor!

Not another one...

Our neighbours need to get some tie-downs...

First, their 2 dogs had 5 puppies, which made 7 dogs, and all of them were left to roam in the streets - country roads, but still!

So it wasn't all THAT surprising they got run over one by one till only ONE was left.

THEN, they went and got 2 other dogs - a lovely blue heeler pup and a pit bull looking puppy...

TWO days ago, after coming home from town, we noticed buzzards ... BUZZARDS... circling their property, and a few landing on their driveway.. We drove up and saw the blue heeler, laying motionless on their driveway, with a couple of buzzards with their ugly red heads, pecking at it, while the others circled above them. The pup literally looked like it had X's in its eyes...

*sheesh*

Take care of your pets, people, or don't have any at all!

Keeping cool

Happiness is...

having relatives with a swimming pool in their backyard where we can go swim all week long, complete with a pool slide, hot tub and fun fun noodles
