Happy Birthday Jet, Ace and Tex!

The little boy was really excited when we told him that we were going to Max and Jet's house for some of the kids' birthday, because it meant SWIMMING TIME!

Essentially, Jet & the twins were celebrating their birthdays together.
The little ones wanted a Paw Patrol cake, 

and Jet wanted Pokemon.

Either way, everything was delicious and fantastic.

As with little boys this age, Minecraft is still huge.

Hurray for little boys gathered together for birthday parties!

The twins, especially, tore into their presents with much relish.

Jet even got a huge jar of Cheesy Puffs!

And then came the SWIMMING!!!!!

Hurray for birthdays and family!

Valentine's Overload

I spied a $0.98 pack of heart shaped cookie cutters that I knew I just HAD to have. :)

Turned out, I went a little bit overboard on Valentine's Day.

The Boys, in the spirit of the celebration, sneakily made Chocolate Covered Strawberries and presented them at dinner time. :)

WHAT?

I know we're in the South, but I didn't expect to see THIS at Walmart.

You made me feel compelled to make cute little hard boiled egg animals for the little boy's breakfasts  :)

AND I LOVED IT!

( Oh, and so did he :) )

Superbowl 2017

I won't venture to discuss the outcome or the teams, but this post will be all about The Food.

I haven't done the whole Superbowl Food thing in a while, so I thought I'd do a little something for the boys - i.e. the hubs and the little boy.

This may not have been the best time to try this, but I made broccoli cauliflower tater tots.

All shaped like actual tater tots.

They came out beautifully and the boys ate them all up!

Ah, freshly made guacamole.

I only managed to take a picture later in the day, so the color is a little off, but still tasty.

Wings.. How can you have a Superbowl Meal with NO WINGS?

Game Day food is basically finger foods, 

and the little boy  helped me make meatball pastry bites.

As a finishing touch, I made an Apple Pie.

Of course, corn and watermelon rounds off any meal delightfully.

What will we have NEXT Superbowl, I wonder.
