Happy Father's Day!

Well, whaddayaknow.

I don't normally do any of those surveys or quizzes people share on facebook, but I thought I'd humor myself a little and do this "What is your ideal profession" one.

Poh Poh's Visit 2017

I can't believe 3 weeks have come and gone.

We drove my mom to DFW today, much to the little boy's dismay.  He had grown very attached to her, and was distressed that she had to go.

Especially when a last moment turn of events had her leaving over a week earlier than intended.

*sigh*

What next.

First there was the Cow Rampage of 2017

where a bunch of a neighbor's cows found their way through the fence into our compound,

trampling on and breaking pipes/hoses - causing quite a manifold increase in the water bill this month, breaking a host of other things, trashing our little water plant pond and leaving a significant amount of patties in our yard etc.

Oy.

Then, there was the hail storm that yielded hail THIS size.

Double Oy.
