These clouds make my heart ache a little.

...only because they remind me of Minecraft....which then makes me think back to when the young man was a little boy, and we would build worlds in Minecraft together, and have so much fun.  

We still have fun in different ways, and he is still the sweetest boy/young man, but it makes me think,  once again, of that one particular Zits comic strip from Jan 31st 2010.

Pineapple Thistles

Yes, technically they are neither thistles nor pineapples, but that's what I like to call them.

In the late summer when everything seems to have bloomed its last, these Purple Wonders are a-plenty. Plus, bees love them, and so do I.
