The third of the 3 kennels is finished, and Henry our choc lab and Big Ear the rottie mix are out of the house. Henry has NEVER been out of the house for even one night, the spoilt brat, but times are a'changing, and we have our reasons. Once we have the ( enclosed ) porch built though, he'll be right back in the house - except just in the porch area. So it's kind of like a transition time. Over the next couple of days, among other things, I'll be breaking down the 2 doggie overnight crates in the kitchen and finally claiming my kitchen back. Ah, the possibilities... :)We'll miss the buggers being in the house, and it WAS hard to see them wondering WTH? and barking almost till 3 am in the morning, expecting us to "rescue them"... but hopefully the porch/sun room gets built at some point and we'll have them lounging around again in no time.
