A Good Samaritan

While we were driving to Letti Thursday a couple of weeks ago, our tire went flat on the highway into town. We had had a leak in that tire, that David had plugged while waiting to replace it.

Anyway, when the tire went flat, David immediately turned off onto a side road. Almost JUST as immediately, a pickup that had been driving behind us ( I think ) slowed down, made a U-Turn, turned off the same side road, and stopped behind us.

Long story short, a couple of very sweet gentlemen, who had all the right tools and know-how, helped us change the tire in less than half the time that it would have taken David and me to do it on our own.

We got the car less than a year ago, and bring the manual around with us in the glove compartment for times like these. We had no idea where certain things were, and the manual really came in handy :)

And we managed to get to Letti Thursday and feed everyone on time :)
