We try to incorporate real life experiences in the things that we learn in HomeSchool with the little boy, and one of them was a visit to the Texas State Veterans cemetery here in Abilene when we were learning about Memorial Day last month.
It was an overcast day, and we had made some craft flags and flowers/poppies to place on the tombstones as we thanked the brave men and women for their service to our country.
Then, Daddy taught the little boy how to use the camera and let him document the day from his own point of view as well.
