1. A Nostalgic Anniversary
We had dinner with David's and my families ( is that right grammar? ) at a pretty posh local Mexican Restaurant, Abuelo's last year when they were all in town from all over the world for our wedding, and we thought it would be romantic to have dinner there on our anniversary THIS year.....

Followed by a double feature at the local drive-in. It was very exciting for me because I had never been to a drive-in, ever, but having known of them all my life. We parked the pickup, positioned our lounger/lawn chairs in the back and had a wonderful time watching the movies under the stars - I even saw some shooting stars! The wind was blowing though, and even in summer IN TEXAS, that was pretty chilly, so we'll have to make a mental note to bring blankets the next time.
2. Birthdays
This sounds shameless, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me TODAY and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DAVID TOMORROW!!!!!!!!

Whooooo Hoo, that is funny the 21st is my friends birthday, but mine is april 17th and My davids is april 16 :)
